2. Description of Service

CronBase is a free reference tool that translates cron expressions into human-readable English, calculates next run times, and provides implementation examples for standard Unix, Quartz, Jenkins, and AWS EventBridge dialects.

The service is provided for informational and educational purposes. It is intended to assist developers and system administrators in understanding, writing, and debugging cron expressions.

3. Permitted Use

You may use CronBase for personal, educational, and professional purposes including:

  • Referencing implementation examples for supported platforms
  • Sharing links to individual cron expression pages
  • Using the site as part of your development workflow

5. Intellectual Property

The CronBase name, logo, design, and original content (including translated expression pages, implementation examples, and editorial text) are owned by CronBase and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Cron expression syntax is a widely-used open standard. We do not claim ownership over cron expression syntax itself, the dialect specifications, or code examples that implement standard language features.

6. Accuracy of Information

We strive to keep cron translations, next-run calculations, and implementation examples accurate. However, we make no guarantees that all content is error-free, complete, or up to date with the latest versions of supported platforms.

Before using a cron expression in a production system, you should independently verify its behaviour. If you find an inaccuracy, please report it via our contact page.
